Do you dream of working with animals and their health, illness, and welfare, as well as public health and food safety? Then become a candidate in Veterinærmedicin (Veterinary Medicine) at AU Viborg and obtain your Danish authorisation as a veterinarian. The programme is available only in Danish, but here you can find the English description of its content.
The veterinary medicine programme consists of a 3-year bachelor’s and a 2.5-year master’s programme. The programme is a so-called unitary programme, which means that during your studies, you will cover all aspects of the job as a veterinarian. At the same time, the programme gives you the opportunity to specialise in the areas of the veterinary field that particularly interest you.
In the bachelor’s programme in Veterinary Medicine, you will acquire the academic foundation to continue on the master’s programme in Veterinary Medicine and thus obtain your Danish authorisation as a veterinarian. The language of instruction on this programme is Danish.
