For one year now, most of the parking spaces around ST's buildings in Ny Munkegade have been reserved for employees. From 1 February 2018, car parks at Physics, Chemistry, iNANO, Molecular Biology, Mathematics, Bioscience and Geoscience will also be reserved.

Students are advised to use the public parking spaces in the University Park.

Staff parking

The map shows the areas in the University Park reserved for staff parking from 1 February:

If you already have set up a parking permit on au.dk/parkering, your permit will have been automatically extended until 31 December 2020. If you have not set up a parking permit, you can do so at au.dk/parkering.

 
Student parking

Students are advised to use public parking spaces in the University Park and at Aarhus BSS:

In most places, the parking regulations only apply on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, there are exceptions, so remember to read the signs near where you park.

Guest parking

As a member of AU staff, you can also register parking for guests at ’au.dk/parkering’. This allows your guest to park in one of the parking spaces reserved for AU staff. You can only register parking for visitors for one day at a time.

How to set up a parking permit

If you are an employee with your primary workplace at AU, you can set up a free parking permit at au.dk/parkering. After you have registered your car, the parking attendant will be able to see that you have a permit to park by scanning the car’s number plate.

You may register up to two cars, but both cars may not be parked in the AU staff parking areas at the same time. Read more about staff parking at au.dk/parkering .
