The thematic centres are involved in a number of socially important areas that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries, and have a potential to develop ground-breaking research activities.
The centres bring together researchers and students within different disciplines and create synergies between faculties, departments and other units. The centres work primarily across the faculties of Technical Sciences and Natural Sciences and . They are an entry point for partners in industry and the business community, both nationally and internationally.
