As a laboratory animal technician, I am responsible for the care and well-being of animals used in research, ensuring their welfare is maintained to the highest standards. I have a background in research, from which I have experience in the development and application of transgenic animal models, with a particular focus on micro-surgery techniques such as vascular surgery and organ transplantation. This background enables me to collaborate effectively with researchers, providing valuable support to ensure the successful execution of their studies.
My daily work is primarily located in the SPF unit of the animal facility. Here, I am responsible for the maintenance and breeding of transgenic mouse lines, including daily animal care, biopsy sampling, weaning, and other related tasks.
