Technical Sciences provides science-based advice to national authorities, government agencies and public administration. The faculty thus helps to ensure independent knowledge as a basis for the development of society. Providing advice is conducted through the national centres DCA and DCE.
Giving advice is part of the science-based advice, which is a common national term for a number of services that universities can provide for the state and other operators. Both the advice and the underlying research activities are carried out by active researchers.
