More than 20 years’ experience in sociological research on enviroment and society. In general my work is concerned with the socio-cultural and socio-material dimensions of green transition, and my research comprises studies into household practices for energy prosumption, household waste handling, processes of pro-environmental practice change, media representations of environmental crises and media’s role in green transition, urban green structure, climate change adaption and siting conflicts.
I occassionally teach at master level courses and PhD courses on environmental sociology, he sociology of materiality and the socio-cultural dimensions of green transition.
