I am employed as a senior researcher at the Department of Ecoscience at Aarhus University. In the Section for Fauna Ecology we study birds and mammals and the mutual influence between animals and their environment. I am involved in research on birds, primarily species in terrestrial habitats, and with a special focus on the farmland.
My research interest is focused on Danish and European bird species and all the parameters that affect the size and distribution of their population.
I collaborate with a wide range of authorities and NGOs, I often include citizen science data in my research, and I am concerned that the research results are widely disseminated.
